Danielle LANGAGER – Impaired Driving

(LANSDOWNE, ON) – A driver who failed to stop at the Canada-United States border was subsequently arrested and charged with impaired driving by drug.

On Monday, December 8, 2025, shortly after 3:30 p.m., members of the Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were requested to assist with an investigation initiated by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). CBSA officers believed the driver to be impaired, and assistance from a Leeds OPP Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) was requested.

As a result of the investigation, 27-year-old Danielle LANGAGER of Ohio, US, has been charged with Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs contrary to the Criminal Code. The CBSA is conducting a parallel investigation, and any inquiries relating to their investigation should be directed to them.

The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville at a later date.
