Chatham-Kent Police Service – Daily Report for January 24-26, 2025

The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 72 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences:

  • 911/PSAP Transfers:173

  • Community Services/Foot Patrol: 39

Arrests:

  • 35 arrests were made throughout the day, including individuals wanted for outstanding warrants, failure to comply, and domestic-related offenses.

Unwanted Person/Warrants – Case# CK25004722/CK25004723

Date: January 24, 2025, Time: 0847 hrs. Location: James St. Wallaceburg

Details:

  • Chatham-Kent Police Service received a call for service at a local business on King Street, Chatham for an unwanted person. A 49-year-old male resident of Wallaceburg was located and arrested on outstanding endorsed warrants. He was released with conditions and a future court date of February 10, 2025.

Date: January 24, 2025, Time: 21:58 hrs., Location: Fifth St, Chatham

Details:

  • A 26-year-old female resident of Edmonton was located in relation to an endorsed arrest warrant for failure to comply. She has been arrested and is currently held for bail.

Date: January 24, 2025, Time: 23:09 hrs., Location: Jane St, Ridgetown

Details:

  • A 42-year-old male resident of Toronto, who is the subject of an endorsed arrest warrant for failure to comply was located and arrested. He was also found to be in breach of his curfew requirements and was held for bail.

Date: January 25, 2025, Time: 1635 hrs., Location: Duke St. Chatham

Details:

  • A 42-year-old male resident of Chatham was located and arrested for an outstanding Intermittent Partner Violence warrant (IPV). He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and is currently held for bail.

Warrants – Case# CK25005042

Date: January 25, 2025, Time: 1708 hrs., Location: Taylor Ave. Chatham

Details:

  • A 30-year-old male, a Chatham resident, was located and arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service for unendorsed warrants for failure to attend court and mischief. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters, was released with conditions and a court date of February 03, 2025.

RPG Arrest, Warrant – Case# CK25005084

Date: January 25, 2025, Time: 21:26hrs., Location: Richmond/West Street, Chatham

Details:

  • A 24-year-old male was arrested due to a person stop on Richmond/West Street, Chatham. He had a previous outstanding warrant for Reasonable and Probable Grounds for assault and threats. The 24-year-old male was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters and is currently held for bail.

RPG Arrest – Case# CK25005323

Date: January 26, 2025, Time: 17:07hrs., Location: Grand Avenue West, Chatham

Details:

  • A 44-year-old male, Guelph resident was arrested for theft for reasonable and probable grounds for a previous outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, released with conditions and a future court date of March 10, 2025.

Date: January 26, 2025, Time: 00:09hrs., Location: Dufferin Avenue, Chatham

Details:

  • A-44-year-old male, Chatham resident, was arrested as a result for a person stop for an outstanding endorsed warrant with the Chatham-Kent Police Service. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, released with conditions and a future court date of March 10, 2025.

Warrant Arrest- Case# CK25005430

Date: January 26, 2025, Time: 03:18hrs., Location: Queen Street, Chatham

Details:

  • A 37-year-old male, London resident, was arrested as a result of a person stop. He had an outstanding failure to attend court warrant with the Chatham-Kent Police Service. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters and is held for bail.
