(GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – An individual from Toronto is facing impaired driving-related charges stemming from a single motor vehicle collision that had occurred on Grey Road 2, near Osprey-The Blue Mountains Townline, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
On Friday, December 26, 2025, at approximately 5:39 a.m., members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report from a passerby of a vehicle that was stuck in the ditch. Police attended and the individual was located sitting in the drivers seat of the motor vehicle.
Christopher MCGOEY, 50-years-old, of Toronto, is charged with:
- Operation while Impaired – Alcohol
- Operation while Impaired – 80 plus
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on January 22, 2026.
