(BRANT COUNTY, ON) – A driver is facing impaired driving charges, following an investigation by Brant County OPP. On the morning of March 30, 2026, at 1:00 am officers conducted a traffic stop at Drumbo Road and Ninth Road in the County of Brant.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 28-year-old, Christine Muriithi from Scarborough, with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
Once the release court documents were completed, the accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on May 15, 2026. .
The OPP continues to prioritize road safety through proactive enforcement and public education. Impaired driving-whether by alcohol or drugs-and Distracted driving, remains one of the leading causes of serious collisions and fatalities on Ontario roadways.
