(MISSISSIPPI MILLS, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a London resident with several offences after responding to a collision on Highway 7 in Mississippi Mills Township.
On February 17, 2025, just before 11:00 p.m. police were called to the scene of a single vehicle collision. There were no occupants with the vehicle when police arrived, and further investigation found the vehicle to be stolen. An individual was located nearby and taken into custody. Officers also seized a quantity of suspected crystal methamphetamine.
Carl Chambers, 30-years-old of London, has been charged with:
· Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
· Possession of a Schedule I substance
· Possession of break and enter tools
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and was remanded to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on February 18th, 2025
