(CARLETON PLACE, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following a disturbance at a drive thru in Carleton Place.
Lanark County OPP officers responded to a restaurant on March 20,2025, at approximately 12:45 a.m. for a disturbance in the drive thru. A vehicle was found to have a homemade cardboard licence plate attached. Two males were arrested at the scene. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of approximately 23 grams of suspected cocaine, 37 pills of suspected MDMA, a replica firearm and drug related paraphernalia.
Kevin LANGLOIS, 42-years-old from Kingston, has been charged with:
· Possession of a Schedule I substance – two counts
· Fail to comply with a probation order
· Use an altered licence plate
Dillon MULLIN-BEGIN, 30-years-old from Ottawa, has been charged with:
· Possession of a Schedule I substance – two counts
· Fail to comply with a probation order
The accused were held for a bail hearing scheduled before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on March 20, 2025.
