On April 3, 2026, members of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call for service regarding a suspicious person in the Town of Collingwood. Further investigation led police to locate and identify a suspect, resulting in multiple criminal charges.
Police arrested and charged 24 year old Brennan MOREAU of Wasaga Beach for:
· Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose X2
· Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking X3
· Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
· Possession of a schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking
The accused was held for a bail hearing to answer to their charges.
