(INGERSOLL, ON) – A vehicle almost collided with a police cruiser, while the officer was on proactive patrol, in the Town of Ingersoll.
On March 24, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m., a member of the Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol, in the Town of Ingersoll, when they were required to react defensively to avoid being struck by another vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, Bradley MCKIM, a 46-year-old resident of Ingersoll, was charged with:
· Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
· Drive Motor Vehicle with Handheld Communication Device
· Operation While Impaired
· Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Woodstock, on May 12, 2026.
