Azure-Dee CASS – Drunk Driving

(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON)- The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one individual with impaired driving following a single motor vehicle collision.

On Thursday, January 8, 2026, shortly after 6:00 p.m., Huronia West OPP officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision on County Road 124 near Melville Street in Clearview Township. Officers located the vehicle and conducted an impaired driving investigation. Subsequently, the driver was arrested.

Azure-Dee CASS, a 27-year-old of Christian Island, was arrested and charged with the following:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on February 17, 2026, to answer to the charges.

Drivers who are impaired by drugs or alcohol continue to pose a significant threat on Ontario roads.
