(WEST NIPISSING, ON) – Police are seeking the public’s assistance with an investigation involving cruelty to animals.
On March 8, 2025, the Nipissing West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), began a cruelty to animals’ investigation, which involved three deceased Great Pyrenees dogs, which had been shot and abandoned in a ditch off Deer Lake Road, West Nipissing (Verner).
Officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) involved in the destruction and abandoning of these animals.
