3 Arrested In Drug Bust – Names Released

(DRYDEN, ON) – An investigation led by the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the Treaty Three Police Service and uniform members from the Dryden OPP Detachment have led to charges being laid against three individuals, including a male from Brampton, Ontario.  

On October 21, 2025, just after 10:00 p.m., a search warrant was executed on a residence on St. Charles Street, in the City of Dryden. The investigation resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of suspected illicit drugs, including cocaine, as well as Canadian currency and further evidence of drug trafficking.

As a result of the investigation, Gunnar MOSKOTAYWENENE, 28-years-old, and Lorna KAKEGAMIC, 27-years-old, both of Dryden, have been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following offence:

·        Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

Eric MORGAN, 25-years-old, of Brampton, has been charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

·        Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000

·        Failure to comply with probation order

MOSKOTAYWENENE and KAKEGAMIC have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice November 17, 2025. MORGAN has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on October 24, 2025.
