$278,450 Hwy 11 Drug Bust

(GREENSTONE, ON) – Members from the Greenstone Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged 2 individuals with Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) offences.

On September 16, 2025, at approximately 12:00p.m., officers from the Greenstone Detachment conducted a traffic stop along Highway 11. During the stop, officers observed a strong smell emanating from the vehicle which led to a search of the vehicle.

As a result, officers discovered large quantities of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, oxycodone, hydromorphone, and morphine. The drugs were destined for multiple rural communities in Northwestern Ontario and hold a street value of approximately $278 450.

Kaden HAMILTON, 21 years old from Toronto, is charged with the following CDSA offences:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Oxycontin
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Dilaudid
  • Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Kadian 24H capsule 100mg

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on October 24, 2025.

Noha KONGOLO, 20 years old from East York, is charged with the following CDSA offences:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Oxycontin
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Dilaudid
  • Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Kadian 24H capsule 100mg

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on October 15, 2025.

The investigation is being continued by the Greenstone Community Street Crime Unit with the assistance of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Cybercrime Unit, and the Ontario Provincial Police’s Digital Forensic Unit.
