$24,000 Drug Bust

(WELLINGTON COUNTY, ON) – Three individuals have been arrested in relation to a drug trafficking investigation.

On January 13, 2026, at approximately 4:45 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a search warrant at a residence in Milton in relation to a drug trafficking investigation. The warrant was executed with the assistance from the Norfolk and Haldimand CSCU, the West Region Canine Unit, the West Region Tactics and Response Unit, the West Region Emergency Response Unit, the Wellington OPP Major Crime Unit and the Wellington OPP Community Response Unit.

The search resulted in the seizure of suspected methamphetamine, suspected cocaine, various weapons and ammunition, Canadian currency and indicia related to drug trafficking.

Total value of drugs and property seized is estimated to be worth over $24,000.

As a result of the investigation, Kanaan EBANKS-DALEY, a 24-year-old from Etobicoke, is charged under the Criminal Code and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
  • Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Failure to comply with release order – other than attend court

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on January 21, 2026.

Additionally, Tyler DAVIS-LOGAN, a 25-year-old from Milton, is charged under the Criminal Code and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
  • Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on January 15, 2026.

Further, Dylan SALTER, a 25-year-old from Milton, is charged under the Criminal Code and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
  • Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on January 15, 2026.
