$230,000 Fentanyl Bust – Paula WESLEY

(SOUTH PORCUPINE, ON) – On Monday, March 2, 2026, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Northeast Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the South Porcupine Detachment, concluded a drug trafficking investigation under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).

Police seized a large quantity of suspected fentanyl with an estimated street value of $200,000. Police also seized suspected cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as Canadian currency and drug paraphernalia. All items seized have a combined estimated street value of $230,000. 

As a result, Paula WESLEY, 38 years of age from Moosonee, was arrested and charged with the following CDSA and Criminal Code (CC) offences:

  • Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000

The accused is being held in custody and is awaiting a bail hearing.
