23 Year Old From Bothwell Arrested

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired charge after traffic stop.

On February 28, 2026, at 1:47 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, observed a suspicious vehicle on Glendon Drive.

A traffic stop was initiated at which time the driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.

As a result, Neil DUTHLER, a 23-year-old of Bothwell, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Dangerous Operation

·      Novice driver – B.A.C. above zero

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on March 31, 2026.

The Middlesex OPP wants to remind the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver you should contact the Ontario Provincial Police or your nearest police authority immediately.
