On April 28, 2026, at 1 pm, the Sarnia Police Service invited local journalists and media outlets to hear an update regarding the arrest of Kyaw Doe for the shooting death of Dane Nisbet. This included details about the firearm that is believed to have been used in this crime.
Dane’s family, his friends, and our community as a whole have been devastated by this crime. We thank the members of the media in attendance for their professional questions and respect shown for the family members in attendance.
