A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries following a single vehicle collision in Pickering.
On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at approximately 1:25 p.m., members of West Division responded to a pedestrian involved collision in the area of Brock Road and Dellbrook Avenue. A Nissan SUV was travelling northbound on Brock Road when it collided with a female pedestrian in the roadway.
As a result of the collision, the female pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was uninjured.
The roadway was closed for a period of time as members of the DRPS – Collision Investigation Unit attended to conduct an investigation. The roadway has since been re-opened. This collision is still under investigation.
