(THUNDER BAY, ON) – On April 6th, 2025 at approximately 11:15 a.m., officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the Fort William Anishinabek Police Service (APS) were conducting general patrol in the area of City Road, within the First Nation Territory of Fort William & had a “stolen vehicle” hit from the officer’s Automatic Licence Plate Reader (ALPR).
As a result of the investigation, Shieanne Angelique SOLOMON, 34, of the First Nation Territory of Fort William, Ontario was charged with:
Criminal Code:
- Flight from peace officer;
- Two counts of Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada;
- Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court;
- Dangerous operation;
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs;
Highway Traffic Act:
- Driving while under suspension;
- Use plate not authorized for vehicle;
- Driver – fail to properly wear seat belt;
The accused has been held in-custody & scheduled to appear for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on April 8th, 2026.
