(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired charge after traffic complaint on Highway 402.
On March 27, 2026, at 8:50 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to the Westbound Lanes of Highway 402 near Springer Road in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre for the report of a traffic complaint.
The vehicle was located at which time a traffic stop was initiated. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.
As a result, Kaleb ZEYTINOGLU, a 25-year-old of Sarnia, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act, Cannabis Control Act, Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:
· Operation while impaired – drugs
· Dangerous operation
· Fail to produce permit
· Have care or control of vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available
· Fail to surrender insurance card
· Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on May 8, 2026.
