(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged following an investigation into a trespassing incident in Simcoe.
On Saturday, March 28, 2026, at approximately 2:44 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a property on Highway 3 in Simcoe following a report of a trespassing incident.
Officers located an individual on the property. During an interaction with the individual, an officer was assaulted and sustained minor injuries.
As a result, 61-year-old Donald KISS of no fixed address was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:
- Assault a Peace Officer.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
