Kamal HOLDER Was Arrested Again

(DRYDEN, ON) – An investigation led by the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the Red Lake OPP CSCU, Sioux Lookout OPP CSCU, Kenora Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), Northwest Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), and members from the Dryden OPP Detachment has led to charges being laid against a male from North York.   

On March 24, 2026, just before 2:00 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on Van Horne Avenue, in the City of Dryden. The investigation resulted in the arrest of a North York resident and the seizure of Canadian currency as well as evidence of drug trafficking.

Following the arrest, a search warrant was executed at a residence on First Street, in the City of Dryden, resulting in the seizure of suspected illicit drugs, including cocaine, Canadian currency, and additional evidence of drug trafficking.

As a result of the investigation, Kamal HOLDER, 35-years-old, of North York, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following offences:

·      Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

·      Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000

·      Failure to comply with release order

The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on March 27, 2026.
