(TECUMSEH, ON) – On March 7, 2026, members of the Tecumseh Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of fraud in the Town of Tecumseh.
Investigators received a report that between January 31, 2024 to January 29, 2026, a known female commited multiple fraudulent transactions totalling more than $30,000.
As a result of the investigation, Leila MENDOZA LARA, 46-years-old of Tecumseh, has been charged with:
- Fraud Under $5000 x 64
- Criminal Breach of Trust
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice – Windsor on May 7, 2026 to answer to the charges.
