(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE TWP, ON) – A 56-year-old male has been pronounced deceased following a collision involving a vehicle and a snowmobile.
On Thursday, February 5, 2026, at approximately 10:20 p.m., members of the South Bruce detachment were informed of a collision on Bruce Road 11 where a vehicle and snowmobile collided.
The driver of the snowmobile was transported to a local hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
Bruce Road 11 between Sideroad 20 and Sideroad 25 in Arran-Elderslie Township is current closed for investigation with assistance from the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement, Technical Collision Investigation and Reconstruction teams.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
