$47,000 Drug Bust

(KENORA, ON) – Members of the Kenora Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested an individual which resulted in drug trafficking charges, and the seizure of a large number of drugs.

On January 24th, 2025, members of the Kenora OPP detachment conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle and subsequently arrested a female for breaching her conditions. During a search incident to arrest, police located and seized 23.93g of suspected Psilocybin, 31.03g of suspected Methamphetamine, 58.5 pills of suspected Oxycodone, 46.49g of suspected Fentanyl, cell phones, knives, and Canadian Currency. The seized drugs have a combined street value of approximately $47,566.

As a result of this investigation, Stephanie POCIUK, 32-years-old of Kenora, ON has been arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences:

·      Possession of a Schedule III Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Psilocybin

·      Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine

·      Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Oxycodone

·      Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl

·      Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000

·      Failure to comply with release order x3

The accused is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora on the 24th of January 2026.
