Brittany MOORE – Impaired Driving

(WASAGA BEACH, ON)- The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one individual driving with impaired following multiple traffic complaints.

On Friday, January 16, 2026, shortly after 4:30 p.m., Huronia West OPP officers responded to multiple traffic complaints of a possible impaired driver in the Town of Wasaga Beach. Officers located the vehicle a short time after and entered an impaired driving investigation.

Brittany MOORE, a 24-year-old of Clearview Township, was arrested and charged with the following:

· Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

· Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, to answer to the charges.

Drivers who are impaired by drugs or alcohol continue to pose a significant threat on Ontario roads.
