Wanted Repeat Offender Now In Police Custody – Kody JOHNSON

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – A male wanted by Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in relation to a weapons related incident that took place on September 28th, 2017 on River Mill Line is now in police custody.

Early this morning, Kody JOHNSON, 29 years of age, from Perth County attended the Huron County OPP Detachment and turned himself in on his outstanding arrest warrant.

His charges in relation to this incident are as follows:

Possession of Stolen Property – Over $5,000

Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (2 counts)

Possession of a Prohibited Firearm

Careless Storage of a Firearm

Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose

Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Resin & Cannabis Marihuana

Assault

Mischief

Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 counts)

He made a court appearance this afternoon at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

He remains in custody with a court appearance scheduled for October 23, 2017.
