Chief Poole And Trevor Seip Facing Greed, Dereliction Of Duty And OPP Blocking Allegations – Wingham Policing Costs Expect To Drop To $355/Property After Transition Period

If you have ever attended a Wingham police board meeting you will know they only exist to prop-up chief poole and his officers (Timmy and the Timbits). The reality is, it is supposed to be a North Huron Police Service Board. Trevor Seip and his police board rubber stamp chief poole’s requests and ignore Blyth and E-W wards completely. If you attended the OPP costing meeting you will have realized that Police Service Boards actually are supposed to do things other than rubber stamp the chief’s budget. Trevor and Yolanda seemed dumbfounded during the presentation, maybe they realized they have failed massively as police service board members.

In order to try and block the OPP from policing Wingham, chief poole and trevor seip have made sure Wingham officers have put in as many hours as possible. This has put nearly all of them on the Sunshine list. Why? Because when we switch to the OPP they have to match the “hours” put in by the Wingham police during the transition period, until the OPP gather their own daily activity reports. At that time the OPP can allocate the proper amount of resources, dropping Wingham policing costs down to the OPP average of $355/property. This is done to ensure there is no drop in policing during the transition period while the real police take over.

How did most of Wingham PD end up on the Sunshine List? This is done through overtime pay. To make this happen the Wingham police spend most of their day patrolling outside of Wingham and hanging out at the Frosty Queen. It must get boring when they only have one call for service per shift and only one square mile to patrol, so going for a drive in the country is a temptation they can’t seem to resist. Apparently they have no issue leaving the square mile unguarded. When these Timbits see a crime or stolen vehicle off the square mile they want to play Rambo and go solo in an attempt to be a hero. It almost always goes poorly for the officer and puts Civilian lives at risk. It seems to be happening weekly now as chief poole and trevor seip are desperate to inflate officer hours as much as possible in an attempt to block the OPP.

Another way the Wingham PD rake up the hours is to harass the Public and issue BS charges. This gives the corrupt officer a day off in Goderich to go to court and testify for a minute or two, and their cop buddy gets paid overtime to fill in. It has been proven at least one Wingham officer will say anything that is required in an attempt to secure a conviction. Clearly this is on the orders of chief poole, either that or poole has absolutely no control over his six pack of Timbits and/or zero respect the the oath he swore.
