(BROOKE-ALVINSTON, ON) – On January 28, 2021, members of the Lambton County Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Canine Unit (K9) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a warrant on Nauvoo Road, Brooke-Alvinston Township.
Police seized illegal drugs consisting of suspected methamphetamine, hydromorphone, cocaine, cannabis and a stolen lawn tractor from Oxford County.
The total value of the seizure is estimated at $57,000.
Georges DOUCET, 50-years-old of Brooke-Alvinston, Angela BAIN, 31-years-old of Warwick Township, and Tyler GRUSIE, 39-years-old of Warwick Township were arrested and charged with the following:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance For the Purpose of Trafficking (Six Counts)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Five Counts)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Possessing Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling, pursuant to the Cannabis Act (Two Counts)
The accused have been released and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice-Sarnia on a later date.
