On Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Emergency Services responded to a serious collision in the area of Victoria Street South at Fischer Hallman Road in Kitchener. A vehicle turning left at the intersection was struck by a vehicle travelling west on Victoria Street South. Both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger of the vehicle turning left, a 25-year-old Kitchener male was pronounced deceased at the scene. The roadway was closed until 11 p.m. while officers continued to investigate.
