(SAUGEEN FIRST NATION, ON) – On February 27, 2021 at 1:54 a.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Bruce Road 13, near Pashwood Drive, in the Saugeen First Nation.
Offices spoke with the driver, who was currently prohibited and suspended from driving, from previous incidents.
As a result of this investigation, Grey Bruce OPP have charged Alvin BESITO, 43 years-of-age, from Saugeen First Nation, with the following offences:
- Two counts of operation while prohibited, section 320.18(1)(a) Criminal Code of Canada
- Driving while under suspension, section 53(1) Highway Traffic Act
The accused must attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton on March 31, 2021.
