21 Year Old Caught Going 150 in a 90

(HURON EAST, ON) –  A Scarborough resident is facing a Stunt Driving charge following a traffic stop conducted by Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) this past weekend. 

On May 8, 2021 at approximately 7:40 p.m. a Huron County OPP officer was conducting RADAR patrols on Mill Road east of Brucefield when the officer observed a compact car travelling westbound at a high rate of speed. A RADAR device was utilized to check on the speed of the vehicle and it measured a speed in excess of 150 km/h in a posted 90 km/h zone. 

A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was subsequently charged. Parmeet SINGH, 21 years of age from Scarborough has been charged with Perform a Stunt – Speeding by 50 km/h or more. The driver will now have to attend Provincial Offences Act court on June 15, 2021 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich to answer to the charge.

In addition, the driver was served with an automatic 7-day driver’s licence suspension and the involved vehicle was towed and impounded

Parmeet Singh, from Scarborough…..the hub of the pandemic. Are we not on lockdown? WTH is he doing in these parts? Hope additonal charge of violating the lockdown are in the works?
